Model 454A

This is a French AM receiver produced around the year of 1946. It operates in four wave bands: Short waves 1 (O.C.1): 14 to 24m; Short waves 2 (O.C.2): 25 to 50m; Medium waves (P.O.): 200 to 500m; and Long waves (G.O.): 1000 to 2000m. The band switch is located on the right side wall of the radio with the tuning button above it. It is a four-position switch (on the right). The tone switch has the following positions: "Grave" (bass), "Parole" (voice), "Musique" (music) and "Pick-up" - the forth position is used to select the pick-up input. On the left on the front panel it is located the volume-control/power-switch. On the back, besides the unavoidable aerial and ground connectors, there is the pick-up input and an output for an extra loudspeaker.

The schematic diagram has been "reversed engineered" by myself to repair the set - there is no guaranty of being 100% accurate.
